The resort
Kai Sokhna, Misr Italia's Red Sea retreat
Kai is built around nature: a gated beach resort on the Zaafarana Road at Kilometre 100, where sea-front chalets look over pools, gardens and the shallow, calm shoreline of the Gulf of Suez. It is Misr Italia Properties' flagship on the Red Sea coast, and home to Ain Sokhna's first kitesurfing centre.

Fins Kitesurfing Academy · Kai Sokhna
Learn on Sokhna's first kite beach
Fins is an IKO-certified kite centre on the Red Sea, set up by Sherif Soliman and Jennifer Osman, two of the people who started Egypt's kitesurfing scene. The centre offers courses for every level, gear rental and storage, day use of the beach and lagoon, and a beachfront restaurant open daily from 9 AM to 11 PM.
Most courses run three to five days. Book a chalet here for the same dates and your lessons are a short walk away.
Course names and prices are set by Fins. Check the Fins booking site for the current programme.
